Chemical Skin Peels
The use of prescriptive strength biotechnology peels allows us to target the skin area concerned in a controlled but extremely effective way and literally “peels” it off.
Our peels are light and medium peels that are suitable for all skin types and skin concerns, these treat the top and middle layers of the skin.
Peels are a fast treatment with instant results and no to very little down (recovery) time.
In combination with the correct aftercare and a well managed skin care routine the results can’t be beaten.
We use a combination of Glycolic acid, Mandelic Acid and Salicylic Acid in different strengths.
The normal PH level of the skin is around 5.5 – 5.8 and the peels bring it down to a level between 2.5 and 3 and then a neutraliser brings it back to the normal level.

Glycolic Acid Peel
Glycolic Acid comes in a medium and high grade and has a PH level of 2.5. It contains glycolic Acid as well as Alpha-Hydroxy Acid; due to its very small molecular size it reaches its target area fast and works very effectively. It exfoliates and stimulates cell regeneration. This treatment works on the superficial skin tissue and is very good for acne, scarring and pigmentation concerns. It also improves the elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid production as well as having a moisturising effect, making the skin brighter, tighter and healthier in appearance.
You will experience a slight tingling sensation during the treatment as we use a high concentration with very little other ingredients.
Mandelic Acid Peel
Is an Alpha-Hydronic Acid sourced of bitter almond extract.The very gentle exfoliation breaks down the dead skin cells and increases the cellular production as well as stimulating the fibroblast to increase the collagen and elastin production; It has a PH level of 2.8 and makes the skin appear brighter it can also target hyperpigmentation as well as scarring concerns. It has natural antibacterial properties which makes it a good choice for active acne and due to its lack of photosensitivity it can be used all year round. It has much larger molecules then Glycolic Acid and is therefore much gentler on the skin consequently this causes barely any burning sensation or redness.
Salicylic Acid Peel
Is a Beta-Hydronic Acid which has a very large molecular size and is extremely effective on impurities and acne. It is sourced from willow bark and wintergreen. This treatment is very powerful but only works on the superficial skin layers as an exfoliant however it also penetrates to the deeper tissues and can target dull and uneven skin tones. The main target is sebum production control (acne, milia, black head) it also reduces the Pore size. It has antibacterial and soothing properties and has a PH level of 2.5-3.
