Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be composed of a variety of substances. One of the most common compounds used in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid (HA).

Fillers with hyaluronic acid provide comprehensive solutions for the correction of fine, medium and deep wrinkles, furrows and folds, as well as for the improvement of facial contours (hyaluronic threads, volumetry) and lip augmentation and modeling.

They work by replenishing the body’s natural hyaluronic acid resources, inhibit collagen breakdown, contributing to the improvement of the skin’s appearance, and also stimulate the production of new collagen.

It is a sensational and minimally invasive rejuvenating treatment. Most importantly – the effects of the treatment are immediate!

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in our body. Its task is to keep water in the tissues. Together with elastin and collagen fibers, it determines the elasticity and smoothness of the skin. Thanks to its hygroscopic properties (the acid molecule binds 40 times more water than it weighs), it allows you to maintain the proper level of tissue hydration. Unfortunately, the quantity and quality of this substance decrease with age, which leads to sagging skin and the appearance of wrinkles. Thanks to the use of aesthetic medicine treatments with the use of specialized products of the best brands, our skin regains its elasticity, imperfections and wrinkles disappear, and the face regains its youthful and radiant appearance.

Let's talk more about Dermal Fillers

What happens during the treatment?

Filling wrinkles is done by injecting into the appropriate depth of the skin, and various gel particles (there are several types of them) are matched to the tissue structure of a given layer of the skin. This ensures an improvement in the volume and firmness of the skin by appropriately lifting sagging tissues. This action eliminates the visible signs of aging.

Wrinkles are filled by a doctor by injecting the hyaluronic acid into the appropriate depth of the skin, and various gel particles (there are several types of them) are matched to the tissue structure of a given layer of the skin.

How long do the results last for?

These fillers work long-term, but not permanently.

The human body has its own system of enzymatic breakdown of hyaluronic acid. The effect after the treatment usually lasts from 7 to 18 months, after which hyaluronic acid is naturally absorbed (biodegradable).

Are there any side effects?

Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and swollen. These symptoms disappear within a few hours. A bruise may also appear.
