What happens during the treatment?
The treatment lasts between 15 and 45 minutes, during which, a tank of carbon dioxide is connected to a flow-regulator. The gas is emitted into a sterile tube into a needle, allowing it to be injected beneath the skin. This may feel slightly strange and you may experience some pressure, but it does not hurt. Treated areas can feel warm for 24 hours after the treatment.
How does Carboxytherapy work?
Stretch marks occur when the dermal collagen has been ruptured. The Carboxytherapy creates new collage, which thickens the skin and improves its appearance. When will I see results?
You should see the full results of your treatment after 2 weeks, but a course of up to 6 treatments is usually recommended in order to get the best outcome. There is no downtime after the treatment, although you should avoid swimming or bathing for the first 24 hours.
